During the weekend, my cousin came over. She brought her baby over to visit.

Her name is Anne, she's adopted. And boy is she adorable!

I got a chance to feed her and put her to sleep! :)

1 month old baby Anne.

Mid term starts tomorrow with DTP (Desktop Publishing).

So much for studying, because all I have been doing is bumming around, eating and sleeping, finding excuses to avoid studying. How very productive.

I miss the holidays. Though I didn't exactly have the most healthy lifestyle, it sure beat the heck out of being back in college.

Being back in college has been a drag, probably due to the fact that its been 2 long years and more.

This was meant to be posted 2-3 weeks ago and I am really slow with my updates I can't even remember exactly how long ago this was. Since these pictures have been sitting in my files for the past 2-3 weeks and Siput kept asking me to blog, here it is!

So, a couple of weeks ago Siput and I went to Mid Valley to catch a movie and for dinner. Since we were not really that hungry we decided to go for something light, that was when we came across..

If I were to categorize this, it would be a fast food spaghetti joint. Haha!

We have Mc.Donalds, Burger King and Carls Jr. for burgers, KFC for chicken, Pizza Hut and Dominos for pizza, and now spaghetti at The Spaghetti Farm.

All I really have to say is..the person who came up with this is a !#%#@%&!

ANYWAYS, we ordered their set meal which came with a soup of your choice, pasta of your choice and a drink.

Asparagus Soup.

Which tasted like anything but asparagus. It was so disgusting I could only manage 2 spoonfuls and gave up.

FAIL.

Spaghetti Meatballs.

(Practically non-existent spaghetti in this picture cause we were about to finish when I took pictures.)

It was ok. Just ok. Nothing special or great.

FAIL.

Lucky for us, they provided us with condiments!

Parmesan cheese, chili powder and tabasco.

Lucky because it saved our spaghetti if not I wouldn't even really bother eating it.

By the time we were halfway through our meal, asparagus soup ditched aside, I was practically screaming in my head at people who stopped by to look at the menu or walking in to walk away or run out. How agonizing. =/

The winner/saver of the meal goes to..

The Coke.

And the smart ass who decided their tagline to be "Wholesome Italian Food" has obviously never tasted the food there. There is NOTHING Italian let alone WHOLESOME about their food.

As for the movie..

I loved it!

Not much for animations but I loved this just as much as Up!.

Went in feeling ok, felt hungry during, and left feeling full. Lol!

My favourite scene was the ice-cream and the jello one! =D

Blog has been pretty dead for the past week except for short updates as I was busy working on Walkabrella's website. Which is finally DONE.

All the blood and tears I have shed, the lack of sleep and breathing, eating, sleeping, dreaming Walkabrella can finally end, at least for now.

How I have missed lying in bed all day and not doing anything! I'm known for being a pig but at least I don't look like one!

The worst part is, I missed All-American Rejects to complete the website yesterday! =(

Siput wasn't feeling well and was so miserable that I flew down to Cheras at night to take him to the doctor and to cheer him up. Ended up staying over for the night which at least made my day and made up for AAR. At least I got to see them during MTV World Stage.

Stayed in most of the day, went out to eat and home it was.

Sometimes we do some really weird things.

I really don't know why, and I don't think I really want to know why. Lol!

Back to college again tomorrow.

I take back the happy jiggly dance I made on Friday over it being the weekend, because this weekend, hands down makes it to my top 5 worst weekend (not that I actually have a list, its called the drama effect. Heh!). Haha.

But as they say, at the end of every storm the sun will shine again. In my case, the sun came out and went, and then storm came back again.

Enough of storms for now, so here's my 'sunshine' of the weekend.

So I drove to Curve, got stuck in a jam, drove home through the rain with Placebo blasting away; morbid much?, and nursed a flu the entire weekend, which got much worse when I reached home.

Put all that aside and hell, Inglourious Basterds kicked ass! Anything with Brad Pitt is promising! Either that or its just my thing for older men. =P

Inglourious Basterds aside, I got to see me Siput and watched it with him during his break. :)

As for now, I'm nursing my flu with a hot cup of tea with honey, arranging another CD mix to burn for my car, and heading off to bed as soon as I'm done!

So I went missing in action the past few days on a roller coaster of mood swings. I blame PMS.

While the cats are away, the mice will play. And yes I live to that saying, with the parents away, I spent most of my time dating my laptop setting up a website and with Gary the siput. =)

Spent 3 nights with baby that now it feels weird to be alone again. No likey! =(

Had dinner yesterday at our secret favorite place, caught a movie as well as shopping; more like window shopping. I'm a happy girl, assignments and parents aside. =D

How long will I slide?

Exams are finally over.

I'm so wired to the point where I'm so tired but I can't sleep, hungry but can't eat, and feeling sick to my stomach half of the day. My body feels like its constantly aching, it comes and goes and lying on the bed feels as though my bones fell apart into a heap like potatoes in a sack.

Having the house alone to myself is somewhat comforting for the weekend and with the amount of work pending, the peace and quiet is welcoming, thought I was looking forward to tomorrow because I was supposed to be spending the day with baby at Sg. Wang. That was until I got a text and call asking me work tomorrow afternoon. Sunday is burnt as well for Photo Comm's photo shoot assignment. Thinking back to the start of October, I realized I haven't exactly stepped out of the house to anywhere else but college and for food.

I'm so sick of the same scene, same faces, same situation everyday that I want to leave so badly. Even if its just for a couple of days to somewhere, anywhere in fact, just to rest and relax and pull myself together.

At this point, it would be nice to hear some comforting, supportive and encouraging words.

I've been so lost throughout the entire week that I have to constantly nag myself at the back of my mind of what I have left to do which pretty much sums up to 1298796238162941 things. I feel like a balloon that's about to burst.

Will someone please get me out of here?

Thank god for exam week so most classes are cancelled.

PR work has finally come crashing down like a ton of bricks, my phone has been ringing and beeping with calls and messages for the entire week which is unusual as my phone is usually very 'quiet'. It now scares me to the point where I'm afraid to check my messages when it beeps and to answer calls, with the exception of the boyfriend only because he has a special ring tone. ;)

As for now, I'm currently married to my g-mail , engaged to blogger; setting up the event website and waiting for Nuffnang and Advertlets to reply (Yes I do realize that they are rivals but no harm to see whats in the offer!).

Parents are off to Bangkok with the Godparents this weekend and I'm not going and am stuck here because of PR, as well as Photo Comm's magazine cover shoot on Sunday.

So much to do, so little time! Kill me please.

Something a little more unusual for the blog.

If you happen to see me on msn, you would notice that my pm says "Ugly people! Stop adding me!" on which I received many feedback messages saying I'm mean! Haha.

Just to prove my point;

I receive facebook friend requests on a daily basis by unknown people aka strangers la. DUH.

Well, up until I had 100 over friend request rotting in my home page; which I have ignored due to the boyfriends nagging over 'Why am I not doing anything about it if I don't know them why can't I just ignore it straight away?'.

OCD? =P

So fine. Since sharing is caring.

Boy, are some of them deceiving with their profile pictures. =P

95% of the request happen to be male, which brings me to believe they are in desperation to make new girl friends, potential or future girlfriends perhaps? Or they just prefer making friends that are 'girls'.

So many things I would like to let lose, saying and writing it out however is a lot easier said than done.

Things have never been quieter then it has ever been with so many people away.

Raya break is ending and it's back to college again. I've been dreading the thought of going back to college for classes, mid-term exams and assignments.

And for the record, nobody seems to know when mid-terms are. All I know is that they are after Raya break.

The week flew by in the blink of an eye, with September and October to be filled with the constant stream of visitors in and out of the house. The change of faces, not to mention accents and big dinners.

Spent some time with baby during the week, watched a Malaysian movie with his brother and sister. Malaysian film industry is 'budding' indeed. Momok the Movie was so awesome, you all should totally watch it.

To the point where I'm even uploading the movie poster.

As for now, I'm off to make something of myself.

And even though I have no reason to, I feel drained.

Drove like a maniac to Curve just to beat the rain, time was well spent catching up!

My laziness caught up with me, hence the dead blog.
The parents and brother left for England just about 2 weeks ago, so I've been pretty much on my own, except that my cousin is now staying with me to keep and eye on me.

You would think that I would have every reason to party and throw house parties since the parents are away, you are dead wrong. Hah!

I think I'd rather have my parents around rather then my cousin due to the responsibility and obligation I have. Its kind of like being in prison.

So what has been going on over the past week?

-College as usual, timetable's pretty free and relaxed so it's not so much of a rush.

-Went to baby's aunts house on his birthday for dinner, that includes extended family/relatives. Overall, I was pretty scared by the amount of people, but it was good. :)

-The fact that I now have to drive to college everyday, which means I have to wake up extra early to get parking. KDU's parking is horrendous!

-Random outings with the college mates after classes.

Which pretty much sums up my past 2 weeks. Sounds rather sad.

Anyways, pictures from Thursday; when we decided we wanted to drink in the middle of the day. Headed to 'The Library' at E-Curve for happy hour at 1pm! Of course not forgetting breakfast at the hawker place, Ikea meatballs, fries and ice-cream while waiting for happy hour. =) Yumms.

Baby says I'm a skinny bear now. No longer a pig! Bears are cuddly, so I don't mind. :)

Why la. I didn't update for a day and my blog readers drop by half. Haha.

Anyways, my laptop screen crashed yesterday morning and a Jil without her R2d2 is a very unhappy Jil. After asking around, I was told that my graphic card most probably had a burnout. Geez. Oh well, it will be fixed tomorrow so hopefully I'll be back online on my laptop soon.
Am currently using the dad's while he's at work. =P

With nearly 90 students in Public Relations, I am doubtful of how things are going to turn out now.

My excitement died out after the first half hour looking at the over crowded (think stuffed turkey or sardine can. haha!) class. Conflicts and misunderstandings are normal and are bound to occur, but in a class of 90?! Who needs more enemies then friends. Event proposal due in 2 weeks time. Time to put the thinking cap on!

I spent the entire Saturday bumming at home watching Dirty Sexy Money and He's Just Not That Into You, eating chocolate chip cookies that Siput and I baked yesterday, catching up with Lisa and the new American boy on Skype, a heart to heart talk with a close friend and of course, facebook and twitter (sue me). As lifeless as this may sound, I am fairly contented.

College has resumed again but I have lost all motivation to go. It's only the first week and I have already skipped 2 days, which wasn't a bad idea considering the lecturer didn't even show up for class.

In less then 2 weeks, my brother will be leaving for England for his studies along with the parents for 2 weeks. As strange as this may sound; due to the rather weird sibling relationship we have, it's going to be very lonely for me. With the parents working full time, it's going to be me on my own most of the time. Between shuffling in and out of college, I'll be at home alone in an empty house.

I guess it just really hit me. With most of my friends overseas or leaving. One of my biggest fear after all is being left alone.

The familiar faces, the hands that never failed to hold mine whenever I needed it, the shoulders that I have cried on, and the fact that all it took was a message or a call and they were there for me in a matter of minutes.

The insecurity I feel of not having anyone to fall back on scares me.

I am scared and afraid. I have never felt so alone.

I miss my best friend.

MTV World Stage was a week ago, but I have been rather reluctant to update on it.

Don't get me wrong but MTVWS kicked ass, the best concert I have been to by far.

It was however a sad day for us as well, but all the same; we rocked out and made the best out of it.

The past week has been a jumble, going back and forth between catching up with friends, spending time with the best friends and boyfriend. Over all, this holiday has just been what I needed. Finally some good rest and relaxation and quality time well spent.

Best friend left to Canada yesterday, so KLIA it was. Thanks baby for driving me down. :)

No, I didn't fall off the face of the earth.

I've just been busy with exams, which are finally over!

Regarding my last post on my eyes, to answer your 'What happen to your eye?' question, I had a lump under my left eye which didn't go away after weeks so I had to have surgery to remove it last weekend. Only to find out that I had another in my right eye which wasn't visible but had to be removed as well. So both eyes underwent surgery and boy was it painful once the injection wore off. The cause? Overuse and abuse of contact lenses.

The surgery was pretty quick. It consisted of a local injection at the bottom eye lid itself to numb it, then the doctor made a cut on the inside of lower eye lid of my right and left eye, and on the outside of the left eye as well since it was to big to be removed internally. The left eye bled like crazy because of the cut on the outside and I now have a scar which is healing pretty ok. Hopefully the scar will go away soon.

They gave me some medication for the swelling and panadol for the pain and well as eye drops. It was a pain in the ass trying to sleep the first 2 days because I kept lying on my side and waking up with my left eye the size of a golf ball.

As for this week, my Siput Babi (Gary) is down with German measles so I spent two days with him even though it's 'very contagious' according to the doctor. So yes I am a walking German measles time bomb but I'm feeling a-ok though I think he was more worried about me catching it from him than him being sick, but still wanted me to stay and take care of him and him consistently asking me do I feel ok and checking on me to make sure I didn't have red spots on me while I was sleeping. Hehe. ♥

Anyways, will be at Rave 2 Save tomorrow and will modelling for the fashion show. Hope I don't trip and fall being the klutz that I am. Sigh. Why do I keep getting myself into these things?

Overall, this semester has been quite and experience. =)

This air in this space has been a little to stale for my liking.
The past few weeks have been pretty hectic that most of us lost track of time, days and even weeks.

That is..until I was told that exams start next week! And there I thought that it was the week after.

Way to go Jil. MLR.

Final assignments are more or less almost done, as well as our film. Have yet to see it but should be good.

On a totally random note, the KDU ad starts screening in the 23rd. So to bad for people like Nique and Ju and your plot to watch Harry Potter together and bringing torch lights and screaming "I know those people they're right here!" Sorry girls. :)

Life of a mass comm student;

You spend the entire week and weekend rotting at home besides going back and forth from college, learning how to use 3 different Adobe programs.

Photoshop CS3-Extended for the artwork, Premiere Pro v2.0 for editing videos, Audition 1.5 for sound and audio. (1.5 is ancient btw, I prefer 3.0 but free trail expired.)

In the process, you go crazy over how it won't do what you want it to do. Stuff starts disappearing and lagging.

As a reprive, you console yourself by watching The Hills season 3, playing Plants vs. Zombies until you complete the enfuckingtire game; there goes your work la, make lasagna for dinner as an excuse not to do your work; which makes your mum really happy since she doesn't have to cook dinner, layan Michael Jackson songs, and the best part; you leave the house to see your boyfriend for lunch and a movie then once you reach home, you feel guilty and sit down and stare at Adobe programs all over again.

I think I finally understand why books like 'Adobe Premiere for Dummies' or 'Adobe Premiere Pro for Dummies' was created; or should I say any 'Dummies' book for that matter though some are rather ridiculous such as 'Knitting for Dummies' or 'Answering tough interview questions for Dummies' or even 'Baby names for Dummies'(what kind of parents are you if you can't even name your kid?). If you don't believe that these books exist, google it. Just because its 'Pro', it has its own book. How much different could it possibly be? I have no idea. I only installed Pro because I was told to, and because Pro sounds a whole lot better and 'professional' then Adobe Premiere 6.5.

I sat in front of my lappy from 3pm to 1am finishing up 20 analysis and summaries yesterday.

And need I express how relieved I am today, I wanna crawl and hide under my blanket and hibernate!

Our film shoot is coming up this Friday, I'm excited yet worried.

Light and sound test was today. The lighting looked really good on the camera. I'm even more excited now.

Our whole initial cast bailed on us, but all is good as we found other people.

And of course, what else do you do when you have a light box other then take advantage of it and take pictures.

I woke up and went to college today with the worst eye bags that I've ever had in a long time. Kinda like a goldfish and panda. Gopanda! Dumb Red. -.-

I think my temporary insomnia is starting to kick in again like last time. Dead tired but can't sleep, or the constant waking up every few hours is enough to drive me insane specially during the hectic weeks. 5 hours of sleep a day is far from enough considering I'm a "need at least 8 hours to be alive" kinda person.

Thinking about the next few weeks and the amount of things we have to do; final assignments, film shooting, presentations and final exams is enough to throw my whole system off balance and break down in tears. So much to do, so little time!

To make things worse, I have so many things going on that they're beginning to clash. I think I'll be dead by the end of July, not to forgetting Jody's auction and fashion show.

Then again, 3 weeks break! Something to look forward to.

Ok then. Presentation tomorrow. What to wear?!

Thank you Valen for ruining my free and empty Thursday by being a total ahole, for ruining two of my semester's CGPA, and am looking forward to you making it 3 now. =)

This year, I chose to keep it small and simple. And I couldn't be any happier right now.

From the 24 attempted calls from Nik and Ju who were waiting outside my house to surprise and kidnap me =) ; phone line was being hogged by Yuin who wanted and was the first and refused to let others call through. ♥ ♥ ♥

Bb who used a pay phone since his line was barred to call and dropped by after. Very old school. =P ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

To the (I think) near 50 facebook messages and msn wishes. =D ♥ ♥ ♥

Flooding of messages into my phone that it went nuts. (numbers show, but contacts went missing so I didn't know who the messages were from.)

My crazy classmates who decided they wanted to all message me at the same time by clicking send in the count of 3, jamming my phone up again, so sweet of them. =D

Lunch with the usual bunch and kai kai around Gardens and Midvalley.

Nik who picked me up for dinner and brought me helium balloons!!! (skips around happily like a small girl (: ♥ ♥ ♥ )

And bought me dinner at Solaris and dessert aka birthday cake at Alexis, and of course Ju who bailed and decided to pay a surprise visit AGAIN. =D =D ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

And totally out of the topic, my A for Moral ed and B for Malaysian Studies. The A is a miracle considering I didn't know shit for moral. Heh! =P

When I actually got round to updating my blog, blogger decided to go against my mojo and go on strike. Finally, I managed to log in.

So many things to write about but I can't seem to find the words. My non-existent dog ate them.

So today, I shall blog about..well, today.

Only because I had to do the weirdest thing ever.

Went to college as usual for the cast and crew meeting (will explain about this later on) and class as usual. After the meeting, headed to Atria for quick lunch with Jody the driver, Louis and Vivi, only to receive a call from Willy about a casting for a Celcom ad, only to find out later they needed a HAND- I kid you not.

Apparently they had shot a model already but one of the poses was missing which was a hand pretending to be 'on the phone'. Willy's sister came to Atria to 'audition' Vivi's and my hand since we were both free and there was money involved- got money included whatever goes la right? So she took pictures and left.

Headed home after class, only to receive a call from Willy's sister telling me that I got it and she was coming to pick me up to go to the studio.

2 hours spent in the studio posing my hand, stoning and feeling like an idiot, as well as watching it being 'transplanted' on another girl, I was free to go! Of all the things I've done, this one by far is the strangest. Imagine having a hundred (more or less) pictures of your hand being taken.

2 hours to shoot a hand?! Because must change lighting and must wait for client to approve the picture. Not approved, shoot again.

It's early, and I'm up. And it's just one of those days when I wake up feeling washed out, drained, tired, afraid. As time flies, the more afraid I get. Afraid to lose, to forget, to realize, if I forget to appreciate, of being lied to, of being taken for granted, to wake up one day and have nobody to turn to. I'm tired of being the safety net. I wish things will slow down, stop crashing on me. There are so many things I need and want to let go off. Finally, mid sem break. How I have longed for you............!

After 2 weeks of 4-5 hours sleep daily, all I want to do is crawl into bed and ~~die~~ hibernate.

As most of us are going to be leaving the country in the next few months or so, everyone seems to be getting a little to nostalgic. The primary and high school pictures that I never knew existed seems to be popping up and around all over facebook. Oh the shame. I was such an ugly kid back then. Haha.

Anyways, the past week was pretty good besides the assignments and classes even though exams was over. Dread.

Recording session and SAE college in Subang last night. Pretty cool.

Every single day of the week has been mad crazy, except for yesterday when I took the day off for myself- that includes ditching studying for tomorrow's paper.

My whole attempt to sleep in for the day didn't quite work out.

I think I'm suffering from insomnia.

Sleeping at 2AM+ every night and waking up at 7 or 8AM. Same damn cycle every day.

Can't beat Friday when I was dead tired and only managed to sleep at 6AM, only having to wake up at 11 for the cleaner. Sigh. (I'm the kind of person who needs at least 8 hours to be/look alive.)

In the mean time, Im still panda/goldfish Jil.

Having to do work on a Sunday really sucks the life out of everything, specially when the weather is a killer and your lack of sleep. I snoozed my alarm 5 times this morning before finally getting up and getting ready to go over to Andrew's to get started on our film studies music video. Late late late..

Progressive, as we FINALLY decided what we wanted to do.

We start shooting on Tuesday. Will post the video up when it's done! Finger's crossed it will turn out the way we want.

Despite the heat and due to our smart idea which really took up alot of time and energy to prepare for it, we had our fun.

Friday night, Centerpoint Mc.d, and off to some pub to watch a live band.

My nerves are up to my neck right now,

I feel annoyed and irritated at god knows what, maybe I do know, just reasons I prefer to not disclose here.

One more tiny pull and I think I'm going to go mad.

Stripping naked and running around and screaming sounds pretty damn good right now.

I don't know what is with the look.

It's a full house again now that my aunt's and cousin is back from Australia, but only for a week.
Mid terms are next week, and I'm happily bumming around. :)

Muar on Saturday for grandma's 90th birthday and back the same night!

And I hate the weather! Suffering from terrible flu today, I had to miss class and come home early to rest. Ugh!

It's supposed to be a horse.

Then again I see no horse resemblance in my own drawing. Haha.

All I do in his classes are

It's a nice day out, great weather besides the heat and here I am stuck at home alone with my tummy full of banana leaf rice and burning from the chilli from lunch with Mr.Boyfriend at Raju's, drinking ribena and tuning in to Aqualung while contemplating if I should get started on some work.

The past few days has been terribly hot even the freezer classrooms in college are "defrosting" with classes on as usual everyday, watching Gossip Girl with Gary the snail, being a lampost with Chris and Amanda (twice!), getting started on our pile of assignments, catching up with the girls and spending time with the boyfriend.

Mid terms are in 2 weeks time and here I am bumming around when I know I should be getting started on the load of work and start studying. Then again, most of us only start on a maximum (excluding Sha-lyn and Amanda) of 2 days before exams. No surprises here.

On a totally random note,

The boy has gone mad, as you can see.

(Baby you notice my blog post title? =P)

I likey my hair now.

My never ending hairvolution!

Over the past few years, something got into my head.

Hence, the whole ~~hair+evolution =~~ hairvolution thing I have going on.

It all started with cutting off 6 inches,

I'm guessing most of my college friends have yet to see me with long hair.

So here, you all can stop bugging me and wondering how I look.

And it kept getting shorter year by year.

And blonder.

And when it grew,

It became even even shorter.

And even more blonde'r

Until one afternoon,

I turned to the dark side.

And as it grew,

And the black started fading off.

I went nuts again.

And yeah, no surprise here.

I chopped it off again.

And dyed it blue black, which didn't quite turn out or show.

Up until this afternoon,

I came home with THIS.

Wasn't heading for bangs let alone Lady Gaga's infamous bangs which it is not!

Just a trim which turn to..

Yeah, you get the picture.

I've lost the number of times I've cut and changed my hairstyle,

But I remember going light brown twice, black twice, and blue black once.

Now, I wonder what's next.

I was thinking red streaks. =)

Last Thursday,

Krispyyyyyyy Kremeeeeeee's! :)

And a bunch of rather retarded pictures.

I think it was the sugar overload in the doughnut glaze.

So sweet can get diabetes and instant toothache kind of sweet.

Chocolate cake, Frappucino, Hershey's cookies and cream.

I think you can tell that Ray suffered the most from sugar overload.

And I don't know why I have such weird friends.
